Photographers Journey/Walk along the Colchester Causeway

Enjoy the beauty of the changing leaves over Lake Champlain. The Causeway (or fill as locals call it) was once a railway from The Champlain Islands to the mainland. It is now a free recreational path where you often will see birds of prey, including bald eagles and sometimes owls. You might even catch a glimpse at a mink or beaver. The views are stunning. Walk/bike ride as far as you like along a wide pathway above Lake Champlain.
Meet at Airport Park in Colchester (500 Colchester Point Rd, Colchester, VT 05446) Sunday Oct 4 at 10 am. Look for the car with the pumpkins beside it. These will be your people. From there the walk is a little further to the lake. There is a parking area further up, that has limited parking. Carpool together from Airport park to the closer parking area. Walk through the woods and be delighted with spectacular views of the Adirondacks in NY, the Champlain Islands, and VT. You will want to take many pictures.
Maybe you come with a group, maybe you come by yourself. We will build our community together. This is a great way to get to know others who will be working side by side this week to shut down ICE.
